I recently began working with the Learning Center as an Assistant to one of their English Outreach TutorS. this Catholic Chartities service provides English learning opportunities to refugee adults who are unable to attend traditional English classes due to work schedules, transportation barriers, or other life commitments.
It has been a blessing over the past ten weeks to get to know The students, learn more about tutoring (so hopefully I can do it by myself soon!) and to be able to participate in providing the help, hope and hospitality that Cathoilc Charities strives for in their mission.
